Some Questions that people will want to ask:

1. What is the main difference between the OEM and the original one?
There are lots of differences, for example, the wires are stiffer, so when you listen to music, the wires will create a jerking sound if they are knocking on each other. Although the sound quality is about the same, you can notice that the bass of the OEM is slightly dull as compared to the original ones. Definitely a good buy for people who does not fancy all these minor details.

2. Easy to spoil?
It really depends on how you use your earphones. Some people really take care of their earphones and always keep them in the pouch whenever they stop listening, some just throw around and let them hit around the walls while walking. Earphones in general are not spoilt easily unless they are demagnetized.

3. I see other people selling even cheaper than what you are selling!
This is a very frustrating thing that I've been telling my customers over and over again. Please do take note that there are different levels of OEM, or I'd say, imitations. Usually we grade them as A,B,C. With A being best, and C worst.

I've tried the C grades personally and those sucked to the core. No bass, or extremely dull buss, or even still, their treble can't even be heard at all. I've managed to source out the really good ones out (which are kinda expensive), and that makes the price difference. Of course, bulk purchases are always good for negotiation of prices!!

4. I am interested, tempted to get one. But I'm not willing to pay for something that I've never tried before.
This is of course, a very true fact that most Singaporeans are kiasu (scared to lose) and kiasi (scared to die). I'm also like that!

So if you guys are very cautious in buying the products, you can meet me up on a separate basis, and I can let you test the real OEM earphones on the spot before buying the earphones. But just to let you know, these OEM earphones are seasoned ones, the quality will be very much better than the new ones u are getting! So, season your earphones well to get the sound to the max after buying!

5. What is your opinion then?
My opinion is to go for the original ones if you have the budget to. I do not earn a high margin for original sets though, given that the prices for those sets are exorbitantly high, and set so low for online buyers to get.

The reason why I tell you to get the original is because afterall, we are talking about a high class earphones here. It will only be fair to you and the brand itself if you were to get the real hard solid ones if you allow yourself to be pampered by spending that extra $33 bucks.

Of course, if you feel that after all the comparison and you do not mind getting one of the OEMs to settle for an above average earphones, you are free to purchase one for yourself. Just make sure that you do not get cheated by other sellers by trying to pose off OEM as original prices.

(BTW, $65 can't get you an original earphones. Common sense tells you that. How can $179 earphones be that cheap?)

6. Wah, Mason, you really got me in a fix! What should I get?
Take your time to consider. Just be happy with your decision. Our motive is to ensure that you are 100% satisfied, but not trying to scam off your money by playing around with words and prices (unlike what other online sellers are doing).

To my horror, there is even an auction seller claiming that his goods are original, and selling off cx-400s at $65. He even claims that others are not original and trying to pull it off by telling people that they are professionals.

Beri Catchy started out as an iPod fixing service blog site. We found ways and means to fix ipod batteries and to have people's iPod fixed.
